BIP Output as Excel (by Default)

As accountants we love Excel, so it’s not surprising that a number of you have asked me how this can be the default output for BIP concurrent requests. This is now possible thanks to two patches Patch 5612820 (11i and R12)and Patch 7627832 (11i). Read the full details on Gareth’s blog (which I highly recommend)

5612820 is included in the latest patch sets (Applications Technology 11i.ATG_PF.H.delta.7 and Applications Technology R12.ATG_PF.A.delta.6) so you may already have the functionality available (11i will need Patch 7627832 too).
